Bristol prison - Horfield
The UFO have been invited onto the IDTS ( Integrated Drug Treatment System )steering group. After initial work, the UFO have been asked to perform a peer review, face to face with clients/inmates inside Bristol prison. We have initially agreed to do 40 interviews, we have got agreement to pay prisoners for their input, and are now in the process of getting security clearance for the review team and creating a brief questionnaire.
mushwera peer drop in
The Mushwera group have created a project plan for an out of hours peer drop in at Nilaari. The Mushera peer support team will get 3 day SUST ( service users skills training ) from CAAAD, have CRB checks and support from Nilaari staff and will aim to help BME communities access support for their drug use, with particular focus on stimulant use.
